An alright manga. The plot was decent, the characters were alright. Nothing super-great, but still pretty good. (Haseo for the win.)

An alright manga. The plot was decent, the characters were alright. Nothing super-great, but still pretty good. Although the ending did make me want to cry, with the whole "The World doesn't need an ending" bit. If that counts for anything. (Mireille for the win.)

This manga was great; I really enjoyed the plot, even though the characters were a little half-baked. The end was wonderful, though; I almost cried. Plus, Mistral made me a rare item hunter on all of the MMORPGs that I played when I read it. (Mistral for the win.)

The plot was creative, although somewhat boring. The characters had no depth, just the classic "I must destroy evil" thing going on. Plus, the series has been on hiatus since 2006, so it may not even be finished, which is why I'm rating it now. (Kissu and Poala for the win.)

A pretty interesting and awesome manga. I really liked the premise, and the way the plot played out was great too. The character designs, in my opinion, were a bit underdeveloped, along with some of the relationships between them. For example, although it's clearly shown that Kai deeply cares for Saya, it never really shows enough of their experiences together to show why. Another note on characters would be that Diva is extremely misunderstood. In my opinion, she has genuine love for Saya, but can't seem to find the right way to express her love until then end (which I thought was beautiful, if you know which part I'm talking about). Yet another thing about the characters is that Hagi is a bit stereotypical. He's just the strong, silent, smexy, caring type, which is, although hot, also a bit lame because he's just Mr. Perfect all the time, even though he supposedly "deserted her" at one point. the last complaint about the characters is that all the good male characters (and by "good", I mean on the side of Saya) are way too caring. Kai and Riku, at least, definitely are much too "I have to save you! You're my family!!" for my taste. If one character in particular was like that, or if they had some badass quirk to boot, then it would be fine, but to me it seemed like all the good males were that way. But, anyway. I did enjoy the plot a lot, because of tha vampires. (If you know me, you know I can't resist things with vampires.) However, I'd be lying if I said that the vampires are the only thing that this manga has to offer. Their take on vampirism seemed stereotypical at first, but if you look into it a bit more it's actually a bit creative. Not the most creative take on the subject I've ever seen, but it was still slightly creative.I also liked the way the plot played out, although the ending was a bit predictable. The ending was still nice, though, and it made me feel a bit sad for the main characters... In totality, it's a good read, with not many flaws, that could be really enjoyed by a select few, hated by another select few, and generally liked by most others. (Saya for the win.)

A pretty mediocre prequel manga to Blood+ that didn't really add anything interesting to the story. If you just can't get enough Blood+, then read it, but if not, then it's not really worth your time... The ending was cute, if nothing else...

Quite literally no plot, and the characters do almost nothing. I'm sorry to say, but this is a complete failure. The only good part was seeing the Dragon Ball Z characters again. (Vegeta for the win.)

Death Note
10/10
This manga was amazing. The plot was so entwining, I was kept up at night thinking about what was going to happen. I was a little sad for L, (lips are sealed on that, though) and I was also really angry with Mikami for being such a fool. (If you know how it ends, you know what I mean.) However, it really was amazing. Read it, if at all possible. (L Lawliet for the win.)

Death Note (pilot chapter)
6/10
This is basically the concept of Death Note that Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata brought in before Death Note became a series. It was okay, not anywhere near as good as the actual Death Note series. The plot was pretty good, because it's a lot like Death Note- but it was still mainly just mediocre. The characters were pretty bad, because it's just one chapter. That said, it did inspire Death Note, one of the best anime/manga of all time, so it still gets a 6/10. (Ryuk for the win.)

This manga was pretty good; the plot was pretty bad, and the characters weren't so deep, but then again, it is a gag manga. I don't usually enjoy boy humor and the like, but I was sad when I finished. And while reading it, people would stare because I burst out laughing in the most awkward situations. (Arale for the win.)

The first part I really didn't like; the perverted/potty humor wasn't very good, the plot was bad, and the characters were pretty much worthless. The second part was an okay action manga. The plot needed a serious upgrade, but hey, you do get to watch people fly around and shoot lasers out of their hands. Anyway, you'll like it if you're an action fan; but they definitely need to tone down their screaming. (Vegeta for the win.)

A pretty great manga. I really liked the premise, the plot was really good, the characters were really memorable... This is just a real classic. It's a wonderfully crafted piece. The ending was just great. I won't spoil it, but let me just say that it had the best of all worlds. Action, romance, mystery... Just a really great manga, all-in-all. (Greed, Roy Mustang, and Alex Louis Armstrong for the win.)

Higurashi When They Cry: Time Killing Arc
5/10
This was mediocre. The plot was pretty good, I guess, but I was frustrated by the fact that it didn't have the 'reset' thing that the anime had because this was only one story arc. The characters weren't all that great, either... Unfortunately, this just cannot compare to the anime. (Miyuki Akasaka and Decective Oishi for the win.)

This is the chapter that Masashi Kishimoto gave Shueisha before starting the actual Naruto series. I don't really like the plot- it's pretty lame- and the characters are all pretty bad. Naruto is such an imbecile, it's not even funny. I didn't like this at all... (Nobody in this manga really deserves a "for the win".)

Vampire Kisses: Blood Relatives
2/10
It was extremely full of cliches. The plot was mediocre, just another teen-aimed vampiric romance, but you'd think that the main characters would kiss more than once by the end of the first volume. To be clear, they don't. Also, the characters had no depth at all. The town had a self-descriptive name, (Dullsville. Really? Cliche number one.) the main character was gothic with a gothic name, (Raven. Yup, there's another cliche.) and the series was a teen-aimed vampire romance. (Cliche number three.) So, as I said before, very cliche-filled. And, when I said they only kiss once by the end of the first volume? They almost do, quite a few times, but one of them ruins it. Every single time other than one, they get up or do something stupid. Which actually kind of annoyed me; I mean, how can that guy be such an idiot to get up right at that moment? Really, it's just a fail. (Claude for the win.)

This is the BEST American comic I've ever read... EVER. I mean, it was so... So... I can't think of a word other than "amazing" or "glorious" or... Would I go as far as to even say that it's PERFECT? OH, I LOVE IT SO MUCH.

A pretty good action manga. I like the art style a lot; I actually tend to use frayed lines like that when I draw. At any rate, the plot was interesting, and the characters were more in-depth then some other fighting manga. And how can you not love it when people yell out the name of their attack as they're using it? A classic, really. (Hiei for the win.)
